Duncan started his musical journey as a drummer at 15. He added bass to his instrument list 6 years ago. In his 20s, Duncan played in an Irish rock band (think Pogues). One St Patrick’s Day, they played at the same pub for 12 hours, alternating between two floors between each set. They played the same 15 songs all night long, and no one but the staff was any the wiser. In other words, St Patrick’s Day and the nature of Irish music are kind to bands of limited repertoire. Duncan joined Buzz Kings in 2024, adding his first songwriting credit, Q&A, in the first month. Duncan's influences include Jamiroquai, Booker T & the MGs, and The Police. He's never met a 9th chord he didn't like. |
